Erin Marie Austin, 46, of Warwick, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024. Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of Paul E. Austin, Sr. and the late Kathleen “Kathy” (Flanagan) Austin.

Erin was a cherished member of the West Bay Residential Community for twenty-five years and a parishioner of St. Peter’s Church in Warwick. Blessed with a vibrant and loving personality, she participated in various activities and volunteer organizations. Erin was a participant in the Rhode Island Special Olympics, a former member of the Artist Exchange, and a volunteer at the North Kingstown Pet Refuge. She loved poetry, pottery ceramics, attending ballgames, and was an avid fan of wrestling. Erin will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Alongside her father, Erin is survived by her loving siblings, Paul E. Austin, Jr. of Providence and Patrick J. Austin (Jill) of Greenville, her nieces, Gwen and Hannah, her aunts and uncles, Geraldine Flanagan, Ted Flanagan Jr. and Jay Flanagan (Maureen).

In addition to her family, she is survived by three extra special people, Kathy Lynch, Cathy Keithan, and Brandon Gardner, with whom she lived for the past four years, and many beloved friends within the West Bay Residential Community.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 12 Noon at St. Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass from 8:30AM-10:30AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Interment will take place at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: West Bay RI, 158 Knight Street, Warwick, Rhode Island 02886 or to the Special Olympics, 2600 Virginia Ave NW, 11th Floor Washington, DC 20037.
